Having been ...</title><content type='html'>Dear Erin, Thanks for your comment! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Having been part of enterprise innovation management teams and as an external innovation consultant now, I do understand your perspective in this regard - and most current idea management platforms do offer some clear benefits as compared to doing the same manually (collecting ideas from multiple sources, classifying them, dispatching them to relevant people, starting discussions etc.). I am sure Stigit has many benefits to offer, and I wish you all the best for a great future! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, we have observed that many of these benefits are usually short-lived, because the underlying idea management processes are fundamentally flawed in both objectives and execution - indeed, very often, idea management portals can magnify the flaws.  We have to realize that an online platform is just one (optional) component of an enterprise innovation system (including open innovation). &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let me also reiterate that herein lies an opportunity for us to collaborate. We would be happy to work with you to build more robust next generation idea management platforms, bringing our systemic innovation experiences into play.
